Raw industrial / Industrial office interior
When it comes to industrial style, it reflects the inspiration of industrial halls, workshops or factories. The industrial style is also a favourite thanks to brownfield conversions, in which the emphasis is on the maximum preservation of original industrial elements. This approach highlights the exposed raw materials and construction. Minimalist black and white colour combinations are most often used, as well as materials such as concrete, metal or exposed brick. Technical elements such as pipes, cables or air conditioning are not hidden under the plaster, but proudly announced to the world. Commonly perceived imperfections can become the main attribute of an interior, they just have to be handled with sensitivity.
How to project corporate culture into your offices in the case of industrial style? When designing the background of an IT startup Futuredwhich is housed in a converted former parking garage, we worked with the remnants of its peculiar aesthetic. Companies such as Innovative have also opted for an industrial feel to their offices Trask and ESET or coworking HubHub.
Contemporary mix / Office interior in a modern spirit
In the case of modern interiors, simplicity, sustainability and flexibility are the main features. The modern interior combines elements of minimalism, but is not afraid to experiment with shapes and colors. Companies like to incorporate their corporate colour scheme into their interior design. Fresh colours combined with muted and natural materials are perfect for this. How to project your company culture into your offices? The modern office also works with wellbeing principles, for example by placing greenery and flowers in the space.
Award-winning offices for Fortuna Entertainment Group we designed on the principles of agile workplace. The hallmark is visual simplicity and purity with maximum use of the properties of the materials used. The minimalist colour and material palette features original illustrations that reflect the identity and dynamics of the company.
Boutique office interior
The term boutique is also associated with the adjective exclusive or unique. It is an interior that stands out in its design in terms of sophistication and elegance. You feel comfortable and safe in the boutique interiors. The goal is not to make the interior trendy at any cost. Rather, the emphasis is on keeping it functional and beautiful for years to come. The colour range is most often in neutral natural tones. How to project corporate culture into your offices? Natural materials that accentuate structures or motifs are popular in boutique interiors – whether it’s marble or wooden parquet. It is on these elements that the uniqueness and quality of the design will stand out.
Representatives of boutique interiors include an internationally award-winning coworking space Base4Work
in which we have worked with premium materials that will gradually acquire a patina and will not lose their charm. We also created a representative and attractive environment in a similar spirit for the investment group IPM Group. Their corporate culture and ethos is written into the interior spaces.
Hi-tech futurism / Technician office interior
Modern technology, functionality and creativity are the main features of high-tech style. There is an absolute minimum of decorative elements in the premises. The play of light on materials such as glass, chrome or polished metals and its properties excels. Reflections, transparency, mirroring – these elements perfectly compensate for any lack of decorativeness. The aesthetic austerity is often complemented by bold, often toxic colours. The main aspects of a hi-tech office are functionality and quality material processing.
Our office design for EOH IT Hub, which won the prestigious German Design Award 2020, combines two opposing scales, the microscopic and the macroscopic. The idea of their intersection was infused into the project by, among other things, the appearance of organic shapes and inorganic surfaces, the use of semi-transparent walls and the choice of an almost otherworldly colour palette.
Creative Hub / Startup Office Interiors
Offices for creative agencies, startups or technology innovators should function like a hive – brimming with activity, information exchange and energy. The environment is designed to stimulate employees who will be excited about going to an attractive work environment. Startup companies are characterized by a specific corporate culture and this should be reflected in the interior as much as possible. The more thoughtful, the better. An office that evokes the cosiness of home or a café environment? It’s not a problem. The material palette most often accentuates natural materials with distinctive colourful elements of furniture or decoration. It’s the details that create the right startup atmosphere.
