Workplace Consulting and Strategy

A workplace strategy translates a company’s vision into a concrete work environment. It is a key step that reduces risks, increases return on investment, and creates offices that are not only visually appealing but also truly support the way individual teams work. We view the office as a strategic tool for collaboration, productivity, corporate culture, and attracting talent—which is why it must be designed based on data, people’s needs, and the organization’s long-term goals.

Main pillars

  • Space Analysis

We analyze the qualities, limitations, and potential of an existing or new space from an architectural perspective and in terms of its future use. Based on this spatial analysis and other findings, we will later propose a basic zoning plan.

  • Needs Analysis

Understanding the client is key to every office design project. We map out how the organization operates, the structure of its teams, its work processes, and its key business objectives. To do this, we use tools such as surveys, workshops, and in-depth interviews with stakeholders.

  • Workplace Manual and Recommendations

We define workplace personas and formulate principles for the functioning of the work environment to serve as a basis for design and decision-making in subsequent phases. We establish an appropriate model for office operations, including the ratio of shared to individual workspaces and basic operating rules.

How does it work

  • 1
    Introductory Section

We’ll take a tour of the current facilities, put together a project team, draw up a schedule of activities, and kick off a successful collaboration.

  • 2
    Interviews with Management

At the outset, we will conduct in-depth interviews with company management and team leaders to identify the company’s strategic plans, corporate values, and future vision for team dynamics and the subsequent use of office space.

  • 3
    Surveys

We will involve employees in the process, conduct surveys or focus groups, and identify requirements for space and equipment. We will assess the needs of individuals, departments, and the entire company. We will take into account different ways of working—both individually and collaboratively.

  • 4
    Strategy Development

We will transform all the findings from our research and analyses into an effective strategy that will serve as the foundation for the development of new office spaces.

  • 5
    Space Plan

An effective layout maximizes the capacity of the leased space by taking full advantage of all possibilities based on current conditions and projected trends. A well-designed space plan reduces both investment and operating costs.

  • 6
    Design Brief

We’ll prepare a design brief for the architects who will design a space that employees will love and want to spend time in.

With whom you will work

    • Marek Hinke
      Head of Interior

    • Marek Hinke leads the Interior team at Perspektiv and is responsible for its professional and conceptual direction. He brings his experience in designing commercial, residential, and retail interiors to the projects. His approach is rooted in the client’s identity and values, which he translates into functional and timeless spaces with an emphasis on materials, detail, and well-thought-out technological solutions. Flexibility, sustainability, and the meaningful use of existing structures are also key priorities for him.

After studying architecture at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, he worked in Germany at the firms magma architecture and Heinle Wischer und Partner. There, he contributed to projects on an international scale—ranging from office buildings in the United Arab Emirates to university campus buildings. After returning to the Czech Republic, he worked at local architectural firms, and in 2019 he founded his own studio, Hinke & Novák architekti, which focuses primarily on interior design. At Perspektiv, in addition to leading his own projects, he oversees the team, develops its expertise, and expands the portfolio of interior typologies.
