10 years of Perspektiv: a look back at our workplace projects

Interior

This year we celebrate ten years at Perspektiv. In that time, we have moved from being the creators of modern offices to an architecture and design studio that now works across all typologies – from interiors to architecture to urban planning. It has been a decade full of architectural adventures in which we have had the opportunity to influence the shape of the working environment in the Czech Republic and abroad. Each project has been different, but they all share our commitment to creating places that have soul, work for people and support culture and community in the long term.

Our very first offices for
STRV
have become a symbol that work environments don’t have to be austere and impersonal. We designed a space that reflects the energy of the startup community – open, playful and informal. STRV taught us how important it is for offices to foster an atmosphere of collaboration and idea sharing.

When we designed the mansion a few years later.
Fortuna Entertainment Group
, the goal was to create an agile working environment that would stand up to the dynamics of a large international company. The result was offices that combine flexible layout, representative design and comfort for everyday work. The project won the “Office of the Year 2020” award and proved that we can combine technological maturity with the human dimension.

We took a different route in the case of
AB InBev
. The world’s largest brewing conglomerate wanted their offices to speak the language of beer – and that’s exactly what they did. We reflected the character of the brand and the culture that accompanies it in the design. The result is a space that is not only a functional work environment, but also tells a story that resonates with employees and visitors alike.

With the project
Urban Jungle
project in Berlin, we looked beyond the borders of the Czech Republic for the first time. On an area of almost 12,000 m², we turned an industrial space into an environment that feels like a real urban jungle. We balanced raw materials with abundant greenery, natural light and zones for relaxation and informal gatherings. Urban Jungle shows how an office can function as a small ecosystem that both energizes and calms people.

Our newest project so far are the offices
SCS Software
in Roztyly, Prague, which was awarded the title of “Office of the Year 2024″. We designed an environment that reflects the needs of a technology company – emphasis on concentration and collaboration, ergonomic details and high quality acoustics and lighting. The result is a space that fosters creativity, long-term performance and team spirit.

In our projects, we have paid primary attention to…

Looking across all the projects, there are several values that have become core to our approach to office design. First and foremost are functionality and flexibility – offices must be able to cope with the changes brought about by business growth or new forms of collaboration. That’s why we always design spaces that are easily adaptable.

Equally important is the variety of work zones. We believe that a quality office must offer a place for concentration and open collaboration, as well as spaces for relaxation and informal gatherings. This principle promotes both productivity and people’s well-being.

Another pillar is aesthetics with a story. Our interiors are not one-size-fits-all – we always try to reflect the client’s identity, brand and culture. Whether it’s the language of beer at AB InBev or the green wildness of Urban Jungle, every detail is meaningful.

Finally, we must not forget about sensory comfort. Light, acoustics, ergonomics, materials and the presence of nature all have a major impact on how people perceive and feel in a space.

Thanks for the first 10 years!

Each project has taught us something and moved us forward. And even though we are celebrating a decade on the scene, we see it more as a beginning – the best is yet to come.
