Base4Work Bratislava as Winner at the German Design Award 2023

Award
The winner of the seventh year of the Interior of the Year 2021 award in the SOMFY (offices, hubs and co-working centres) category is the interior of the Base4Work co-working space in the listed Jurkovič Teplárna building. We have tried to create an inspiring and diverse workspace that will provide a backdrop to connect different user groups. The reconstruction itself was conceived so that the original parts remain visible and the imprint of Dušan Jurkovič is preserved as much as possible. However, we interpret Jurkovič’s work in the spirit of 21. century. The prizes for this year’s competition were designed by designer Václav Mlynář.
