Studio Perspektiv, one of the most significant players in the field of architecture and design in the Czech Republic, is entering a new phase of its development. Its founder Ján Antal becomes the sole owner of the studio, strengthening not only its stability but also its strategic position within the growing FRMWRK group (read framework).
The change is the result of a friendly agreement between Ján Antal and Martin Stara, who founded Perspektiv together ten years ago. Each of them has now decided to follow their own professional path, according to their visions and priorities. Ján will thus devote himself fully to the development of Perspektiv and other business activities within the FRMWRK holding.
“I want to further develop Studio Perspektiv as an open and strong platform for architecture, design and technology. We plan to invest in talent recruitment, expand our teams and deepen synergies within the FRMWRK group. We believe in the deep expertise of our people and want to be a driving force in the market to transform the architecture and design world,” says Ján Antal, the new 100% owner of Studio Perspektiv, who is also the founder and sole shareholder of the FRMWRK holding.
Today, the FRMWRK group includes not only the Perspektiv studio, but also the Arkhe interior design studio and the AM Interiér production plant in Zlín. The entire group currently has over 120 professionals across all disciplines and achieves a turnover of around CZK 300 million. The ambition is to cross the half-billion mark within two years and become one of the leaders in the field of complex construction and interior design.
The departure of Martin Stara, co-founder of the studio, took place after a long discussion about the future direction of the company. “I thank Jan for his long-standing cooperation. I leave knowing that Perspektiv is in good hands, has a great future ahead of it and a number of quality projects. I am proud and grateful for what we have been able to create together and thank all the current and former members of our team for their cooperation. Without them, Perspektiv would not be where it is today,” says Martin Stára.
The Perspectives Interior Division, which has produced a number of award-winning commercial interiors since the studio’s inception, remains active in the same capacity and continues under the new leadership of Mark Hinke. He has recently been involved in the management and development of the architectural part of Arkhe Studio. Arkhe, within the FRMWRK holding, focuses mainly on the design of residential interiors, rental housing and their implementation, including the supply of standardized and atypical furniture production.
The change in ownership of the Perspectives Studio confirms FRMWRK’s ambition to be a change agent in how contemporary architecture is produced – more efficiently, sustainably and with an emphasis on the integration of design and technology. We believe this transformation will also bring new opportunities for our partners, clients and the market as a whole.
