O BudexHUB
BudexHUB was created in cooperation with investors who have long been involved in sustainability, renewable energy and modern technologies. It was clear from the beginning that the architectural design had to respect not only the functional requirements of the office building, but also the company’s philosophy based on innovation, clean energy and environmental responsibility.
The four-storey wooden office building with an area of 2,300 m² is one of the tallest wooden buildings in the Czech Republic and works with a combination of CLT panels, the NOVATOP system and a reinforced concrete core. The structure is designed in dominant view areas, making materiality part of the building’s identity, not just a hidden structural mechanism.
The building operates on the principles of passive energy systems, using geothermal boreholes, a heat pump and the latest generation of bifacial solar panels, which are integrated into the roof of the parking spaces. The goal was not just economic efficiency, but long-term self-sufficiency and a minimal carbon footprint.
