A Thoughtful & Efficient Workplace
With over 30,000 employees globally, SKY places immense value on its workplace environment. Our journey began with a visit to SKY’s London campus, where we experienced firsthand their human-centric, activity-based approach (ABW) to office design. The emphasis on light, height, openness, and transparency, combined with a warm, neutral material palette, guided our vision for the Prague office. Key elements such as biophilia, brand integration, and flexible workspaces all play a role in supporting SKY’s hybrid work model and global streaming operations.
The new Prague office was designed with this same philosophy—creating a space that encourages collaboration, connection, and efficiency. A well-balanced mix of meeting rooms equipped with top-tier video conferencing, open collaboration areas, and touchdown spaces ensure that employees have the right environment for every type of work. A key takeaway from SKY’s approach is their meticulous evaluation of space efficiency—every chair, from a task chair to a barstool, is considered in space planning, a practice we now apply to our own projects.

A True Partnership in Design
This project was a testament to the power of collaboration. SKY engaged top regional and local experts to deliver the best possible outcome, from architectural design to branding, biophilia, and technical execution. The Prague office design was tailored to reflect SKY’s global identity while maintaining a contemporary, local character that resonates with the Karlin marketplace—striking the right balance between international standards and Czech workplace culture.
We also integrated sustainable principles into the project, prioritizing the reuse of existing furniture wherever possible, refreshing chairs instead of replacing them, and minimizing waste. Additionally, the wellness room, an important part of SKY’s commitment to employee well-being, became a key feature despite initial local hesitations.

Acknowledging the Team
Delivering this project was a collective effort, and we want to acknowledge the key partners who made it possible:
- OM Consulting – Project Management, Cost Management, Health & Safety, Permitting, BREEAM
- Perspektiv Studio – Architectural Design
- CEDE Studio – Technical Design
- Cre8 – Fixed & Loose Furniture
- SIS – Main Contractor
- Brick – Specialist Joinery
- Jungle Interiors – Biophilia
- KPA One – Branding
Reflecting on this project, one of the most rewarding aspects was how the collaboration evolved. SKY’s initial visit to our showroom in Prague helped establish trust, allowing us to co-develop flooring, finishes, and color schemes. The result? A premium workplace experience delivered efficiently and thoughtfully, proving that great design is always a partnership.
