The swimming pool is a building that is important for the local community. Our competitive design of the city swimming pool in the newly created district in Nové Mesto nad Váhom presents an idea of ​​what the construction of civic buildings of the 21st century should look like. Our solution respects the existing buildings in the area, the area of ​​the former barracks, and naturally connects the existing structure to the urban structure.

When creating the competition design, we were inspired by the morphology of historic spas and colonnades. The form of the house presents a story that takes place inside it. We made sure that each space was designed with its function in mind, combining local resources and sustainability, which we consider to be key in buildings of this type. Our goal is to create a timeless architecture that will also serve future generations.
