About project
After the successful completion of the ZITA glasses and optics store for adults, the same client asked us to implement the idea of creating a modern sales space for children, which would be a professional eye center and optics. We based ourselves on the visual style of the eyekido brand and in the design of the children’s store we combined the Japanese visuality and dynamics of martial arts (Aikido) with the children’s world of colors and rounded abstract shapes. Children are drawn into another world, the store is not intended as a children’s game world, but rather as an exciting journey full of adventures, at the end of which good eyesight awaits the children.

The elements of cabinets, storage and panels for glasses are part of a world referring to Japanese culture and its famous sliding doors. They are the backdrops that accompany children when choosing glasses or waiting for an examination. From the outside, they are individual boxes inserted freely into the space between the columns, just like in the other part of the store. Individual panels of the boxes serve as built-in cabinets, or they can contain game panels for children.
The interior consists essentially of white paint on the existing structures, which will be retained. The floor area will be in a light gray shade. A variant of the rest elements are veneered cabinets. All the colors used are bright, bold, vibrant. They were applied to carpets, furniture and as graphic boxes for the test rooms. We have also incorporated recycled plastic in a translucent design into the interior.
