An inspiring microworld where technology and nature merge

The office concept was conceived as an adventurous journey through a microworld where nature and technology merge. The bright “technological” interior, represented primarily by translucent and reflective materials, surprises with organic corners with greenery in the form of cacti and richer greenery, as well as darker rooms with typical neon lighting evoking a gaming atmosphere.

The central element of the office space spread over three floors of the administrative building is a sculptural wooden staircase, the color design of which is based on the company’s corporate identity. This distinctive architectural element, nicknamed the “diamond”, not only represents the aesthetic dominant of the interior, but also was a technological challenge when choosing a supplier of joinery elements.

The selection process also included the creation of a prototype of the staircase section (mock-up) to achieve a perfect execution. The staircase works with dynamic contrast – the inner surface in a deep red tone stands out sharply against the outer veneer cladding, where smooth and structured surfaces blend and create a unique visual landscape. This element not only functionally connects the individual floors, but also defines the character of the entire space and underlines the company’s identity.

Employee-friendly offices – a space for relaxation and socializing

The offices have been designed with employee wellbeing in mind and provide a wide range of spaces to support productivity, creativity and relaxation. Key features include a private barbershop, a large fitness centre with a nutrition bar, a multifunctional yoga room, two massage rooms and a physiotherapy area. Meditation rooms are available for mental wellbeing, while a creative zone is equipped for painting, playing board or computer games and sewing costumes.

For social activities, there is a large lounge area, a children’s corner, a room with board games, a games room with a ping-pong table and two billiards. Employees can use an almost professional kitchen, which is also used for joint cooking courses, and a coffee corner with its own barista. The office facilities are complemented by a number of meeting rooms designed for regular and informal meetings.

Another interesting feature of the development company’s state-of-the-art facilities is its own podcast studio, a cinema for screening films, and a recording studio.

Also worth mentioning are the hygienic facilities (toilets and showers for employees), which are designed with arcade game motifs (pacman, super mario, space invaders). The entire office concept for SCS Software is completed by a private outdoor terrace with a kitchen designed specifically for the company, offering a unique view of the Krč Forest – an ideal space for informal meetings and relaxation.

Working environment – ​​flexibility, comfort and functionality

Project rooms are used for time-limited collaboration of selected colleagues across the company to create new ideas. These special rooms have office equipment for 12-24 people, space for agile & scrum project management and relaxation zones. Everything works as an incubator for new corporate ideas.

The entire office is designed with ergonomics, collaboration and the individual needs of employees in mind. Each workstation is equipped with a height-adjustable desk, while teams of approximately ten people have their own zoned sections that support effective collaboration and focused work. The space also includes creative areas for individual creation and visual expression of the team identity.

Modern technologies facilitate everyday work processes – TV screens with a direct connection to a mini computer (NUC) enable intuitive presentations and brainstorming. Employee comfort is ensured by a comprehensive approach to the environment – carefully selected diffusion elements for optimal air circulation.

The most prominent requirement when creating the offices was to achieve acoustic comfort for all employees. This was achieved through a combination of detailed acoustic assessments and smart zoning of the suspended ceilings, which minimizes noise and ensures a quiet working environment. The overall impression is completed by top-quality materials, including premium carpets, which contribute to maximum comfort and aesthetic quality of the space.
