The realization of a city apartment building in the center of České Budějovice, which is on the list of the city’s cultural monuments, requires sensitive interventions and close cooperation with officials from the Heritage Institute. The oldest part comes from the late Gothic period, when the house formed the house’s background on the square with the right to brew beer. In the interior, the stylistic influences of the Renaissance and Classicism with Rococo decoration elements are used. Classicism is also used on the street facade at the ground and first-floor level.

Design
Place, history, atmosphere, all these aspects played a role in interior design. We have left the preserved parts of the house, which tell about its development, visible – masonry, stucco, and vaults. All the more impressive is their combination with contemporary elements and modern morphology, which distinguishes the project from all others in its uniqueness in the context of the building.
